Sir,
ان مولانا اور اسی گری
With reference to Mr. Cox's letter of the 18th instant (25024/1910), I am directed by the Lords Commis- sioners of His Majesty's Treasury to request you to inform the Secretary of State that on further consideration of the whole question They think that it will be desirable to relieve the Hong Kong Government altogether of the Postal Agencies maintained in China; and They are in com- munication with the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and the Postmaster General with a view of ascertaining what arrangements can be made for attaining this end with as little delay as possible.
In the meanwhile I am to request that the exist- ing arrangements may be left undisturbed for a short time longer.
I am,
Sir,
Your obedient Servant,
